I am 35-years-old and was a flight attendant for a little over 16 years. Traveling and staying in hotels (with cruddy or no exercise equipment) 4-6 days per week can wreak havoc on your fitness, if you allow it. Without "P90X" and some of the other Beach Body workouts showing me what can be done, I could have easily let my health go.

I play hard. Some years ago, damage to both of my hips was caused by a combination of a bad ski fall and being a throw dummy in martial arts. It has been four years since my last martial arts class, as the damage is pretty extensive. Most every move in our martial arts aggravated my hips. Without "P90X", we would not have found an alternative to sitting around the house. Modification is definitely the key. There is a great versatility in all of the workouts. And I love that Tony says it's okay to modify.
Eating healthy is a challenge and something you have to plan. My lunch box is almost as large as my computer bag, and I always have healthy snacks available for myself as well as my fellow employees.
There is a lot of complaining out there about how people “can’t” do the workouts and eat healthy on the road. That is just not true. It can be done, and is being done by many dedicated people. Planning, modifying and being open to any possibility is important (I’ve gone so far as to run outside and downstairs to do “Airborne Plyo” push-ups, as well as move furniture to have room for a vinyasa).
Passing along what we’ve learned from our experiences with “P90X” is so awesome. Hearing people tell about their milestones and overcoming obstacles is inspiring and exciting! It can be difficult. No one said, this was easy. The truth of the matter is each and every one of us has the ability to take better care of ourself (it is one of the very few things of which we have absolute control). You CAN do it! I know you can do it! Now, let's get you on your way to being the best that you can be!!!

There's nothing like your fiancée saying, "We've reached the age of ever-expanding guts..." WE?! Fortunately, around a month later, he had a new announcement, "I ordered 'P90X' for us!" US?! That was over a year ago, and we’ve never taken a second look back!
Though I've never really been out of shape, I am very much in the best shape of my life. Even roller blading 30+ miles a day didn't have me looking this good!
Even my sister said, "Holy **** you better stop, before you are one big muscle. You look great." In all our years, she has never given me a compliment (out loud, anyway), let alone one so awesome!
It is second nature for us to grab healthy snacks and drinks. We've raised awareness with our families and their health. We are even more "health" conscious about our home and surroundings, going “green” whenever possible with organic foods for us and organic alternatives for the plants. Recycling and using recycled products. Buying a hybrid car and conserving energy. It never felt like we had really "transformed". However, looking around at our lives, we've done just that.
