My Photos | PetMike We are a VERY GRATEFULLY(happily seems to just not describe how we feel about our marriage)married couple!!! I have always had to "watch" my weight. In school I was always height/weight porportionate. I was active in sports and thus kept me fit and lean. My father is a very obese man and always been, and his father and so on and so on and so on. In school I was always height/weight porportionate. I was active in sports and thus kept me fit and lean. My father is a very obese man and always been, and his father and so on and so on and so on. It wasn't until I became pregnant the 2nd time ( I had a miscarriage the first time)that I gained more than enough weight. I did get that weight off (but not in a healthy manner) by not eating and working out so hard that I went to bed sore every night; :( Needlesstosay, the weight eventually came right back on! My weight really took a plummet when I got pregnant with my son Benjamin. He was stillborn at birth. I did not want to lose that pregnancy weight. I felt that if I did, it was like losing soemthing else that was "of him". I got pregnant right away, against the good advice of my Dr., and by the time Zachary was born I was weighing a good 200#! By the time he was 4 years old (I was still breast feeding him as well) I weighed 220# at 5 feet 1 1/12 inches tall:( I finally said "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH"!!! I weaned him off of the breast and started to lose this unwanted weight and those undesired inches! Since that time, I have been lovingly called the "FOOD NAZI" since Michael and I have been together! Keeping low fat foods in the house, no beef, no pork..etc... and always going from, what seems, one "diet" after another. Always trying to find that "fountain of youth" and those jeans I wore 20 years ago in High School ....LOL Michaels weight has been a yo-yo as well. Before meeting me, most of his meals were fast food, on-the-go, anything quick to make. I changed all of that when we found one another!!! He loves my cooking and I love to cook for him :) I discovered (what we both thought was another "diet"...some strange infomercial called BEACH BODY! So, after convincing Michael to let me purchase the Slim in 6 package, he decided to try it with me. It was no diet! It was the most healthy, amazing, energetic, well thought out program that the "food nazi" had ever laid her eyes on!! We were hooked! The food was amazing, the recipes that we found together, either from other Beach Body posts or from making the correct alternations to favorites reipes and new ones found, we discovered we were actually eating more than ever! Poor eating habits were now deleted forever! I no longer sit in my office with a box of crackers and a diet soda, and Michael no longer eats 2 large plates at dinner ..."But, Pet, your cooking is so good, I have to have some more!" We have found not a diet, but a new way of eating! We have found not a diet, but a new way of exercising! We have found not a diet, but 2 healthy people in love! We always make breakfast the largest meal of our day! And We always work out together! Together, Forever & Healthy! My Progress My Fitness Goal: Transformation Story
