After having 2 children within 15 months of each other and 2 seasections. I had gained alot of weight. I am only 5ft 1 and was weighing 185 pounds. One day not long after my wedding in 2006 I saw my wedding pictures. Oh boy what a reality check. The next day I got up looked myself in the mirror and told my self over and over that I was not the girl in the picture and I was going to prove it!! I started walking every morning and at the end of 2 months had lost 5 pounds. I got a little discouraged and decided I would have to do more. I was to shy about my body to go to a gym. Then one of my friends mentioned a gym in town called Curves. A all woman gym!! I joined and the pounds just started melting. I went 6 days a week and within the year was down to 140 pounds. I then ended up working there and actually ended up Manager of a gym WOW what a difference from 1 and a half years ago. Anyway I have since left that job and gym but continued with programs like Tae bo billy blanks and other cardio workouts. I am now maintaining a steady 137 pounds. I have decided to give P90X a go and try to get that lost 10 to 15 pounds off. I also want to firm up the loose skin from losing weight. So wish me luck I know I can do this and just hope to have the same results as alot of you.
