I'm a 20 year old college student studying music composition, and am in my
4th semester. As a college student, I know how hard it can be to lose weight
and maintain a healthy lifestyle, but it's really worth it. As a resident assistant
in the Freshmen dorms, I work to bring programming to my residents that
will teach them the skills they need to live a healthier lifestyle, such as our

Transformation Story

Growing up overweight most of my life, I was introduced to Slim in 6 in 9th or

Growing up overweight most of my life, I was introduced to Slim in 6 in 9th or
10th grade, borrowing it from one of my mom's coworkers. I did do the
workouts, but since I didn't change anything in my diet, I lost no weight.
Then, for my 17th birthday, I bought myself Yoga Booty Ballet. I lost a lot of
weight going from about 163 to 137 in only 4 months. That summer,
however, I fell back to my old eating habits and went back up to 145.

Things got worse my senior year of high school when I spent much of the
year sick. I entered college at 157 pounds.

Throughout the years, between my mother and I, we've collected YBB, P90,
P90 Master Series, and Turbo Jam (most of the videos except the ball one).
But when I went to college, I thought I'd use the school gym and I didn't bring
any of my videos with me. Well, after gaining an additional 16 pounds
(topping out at 173) I knew I had to make a change. I bought my mom Hip
Hop Abs for Christmas and I did that while I was on winter break.

My second semester, I brought my old friend, Turbo Jam, back to school with
me. I worked out religiously and gained back much of my lost muscle tone,
but I didn't lose much weight because I had a hard time changing
my eating habits.

This past summer, with the help of my AMAZING coach, I've begun to change
not only my eating habits, but the way I feel about food too. Over the
summer I rotated between TJ, HHA, and P90. I did P90X during the fall and
am now doing ChaLean Extreme (my favorite program so far!!) I've been
doing it since December 21st and have now lost a total of 23 pounds!! My
arms are becoming nice and toned (I love my shoulders!) and I can't wait to
continue my journey w/ ChaLean Extreme!
