I am 32 years old and just gave birth to my second son
on April 5, 2004. Weight was never a big issue for me
until I became pregnant with my first son, in which I
gained a total of 76 pounds (and I am only 5' 4")! I still
had 18 more pounds to lose when I became pregnant
with my second son 11 months later. With this last
pregnancy I gained "only" 40 pounds. I now have 33
pounds to lose

Monday, May 31, 2004: What a difference a week makes!
I've already lost 4 pounds and at least an inch
everywhere. My energy is up and I can feel that I am
getting stronger and getting my flexibility back already.
I've always been one to take my measurements and
when I weighed 153 after my first pregnancy, my
measurements were all a bit higher... just goes to show
you gain muscle with these workouts!
Week one is done on the way to being the new healthier
me and I feel great!

June 7/04: I just completed week 2 and I am now down a
total of 8 pounds and have lost about 4% of my body fat!
People are already noticing a difference and I know that I
definitely am! I am feeling great and the losses are
definitely a great motivator. I can't wait to see what the
next four weeks have in store for me!

June 14/04: End of week three with 3.5 more pounds GONE! I am definitely happy with the results that I am getting. I look at the pictures and they don't seem to show the results that I'm feeling, but I know they will soon. It's exciting to know that I will be back to a much smaller size a lot sooner than had I not ordered Slim in 6. I had fallen asleep one night while nursing only to awake to the beginning of the Slim in 6 commercial. Normally I would either turn off the tv or change the channel, but for some reason, I watched the
whole thing. Actually before it was even over, I was on the
phone ordering my package and it couldn't have come
soon enough for me!
Let's see what week 4 will have in store for me! I'm over
half way to the end of the 6th week!!!

June 21/04 - End of Week 4 - two more pounds lost. BIU is actually getting a little bit easier! I still have to take little breather-breaks, but I am happy with my progress thus far. The stubborn weight around my hips is finally starting to leave me. Adios! Au Revoir! Ba-BYE! Now if only the tire around my lower waist would go! Let's see if Week 5 can help me out there. Stay tuned........

June 28/04 - End of Week 5 - 2.5 pounds lost. Well, the tire is still there, but smaller! I was getting a little frustrated with this week because I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. I was having to work out at night this past week and I wondered if that had anything to do with it. Then all of a sudden, with only a couple of days left to week five, it felt VERY different when I put my hands on my hips and I fit into some shorts that I haven't been able to wear since before my first son (we're talking summer of 2001 here!)!!! Down 2.5 pounds from last week and half an inch off of my butt and another half an inch off of my hips!
Wahoooooo!!! I am also really happy with the changes that I see in my before and now pictures. I can finally see big changes! Yeh!

Last week of Round 1 now... I am going to have to go really hard! I know it's not all about the pounds, but I really
really want to lose a total of 20 lbs this round... so I have 4 more pounds to lose. Can I do it??? One more week to
find out....

July 5/04 - End of Week 6 - 1.5 pounds lost. OK, so I didn't lose the 4 pounds, but overall I lost 17.5 pounds for my first round of SI6!!!!!! I am so happy with that! I lost 3.75 inches off of my waist, 3.25 off of my hips, 2.5 inches off of each thigh, 3 off of my butt, 1.75 off of each knee and my resting heart rate went from 84 down to 54 beats a minute!!!! I feel great!!!!!! Thank you Debbie and Beachbody.com!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) Thank you to all my message board buddies too! You've all helped to motivate me to stick to it and give it my all.

End of Week 7 - 2.5 more pounds gone gone gone!!! I am soooooooo excited because I have now lost a total of 20 pounds!!! YEHHHHH!!! YIPPPPEEEEE!!!!!!!! YAAAAAHHHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I'm half way to my goal! I'd be happy with just another 15 lbs gone though. I think I need to lose at least another 10 in order to be able to wear my old clothes. I can't wait until that day! I feel great. I feel so awesome! I feel FABULOUS! What a thrill it is to be on my way to be fit and slim!

Monday Sept 6 - ROUND 2 - End of Week 4: I have now been doing the Slim Series for 2 weeks (after 1 week of RIU and 1 week of BIU), and I LOVE ALL of the workouts!!!!! I am now down to 135 and I have between 10 - 15 pounds to lose. The weight isn't dropping as rapidly now, however, I definitely see changes in my body! I am getting more muscle definition and my clothes fit differently. My husband has agreed to do Power 90 with me, so in 3 weeks, we will be starting that together. I am addicted to Beachbody!!!!! I love seeing the changes! I can't wait to see the changes on my hubby too! ;)

End of Round 2 - Sept 19/04 - I feel wonderful! I just took my "after" pictures and I am SHOCKED! In a good way this time!!! I am so happy with my progression (I've lost a total of 25.5 pounds!) and I look forward to keeping it up and continuing to becoming more and more fit. I have never had so much fun with any fitness program before. My only regret about Beachbody is that I didn't find out about it sooner!

Dec 28/04: I have now completed P90! I really enjoyed it and the results! I finally made it to the 120's! It is so beautiful to see those numbers again. It is entirely a different workout from SI6, so it's been fun mixing it up. I have all the details and pics on my P90 thread... so check it out!! :)

Feb 7/05: It's onto P90X now! I love the intensity of the workouts that I have done thus far. It's crazy and I can't wait to see the results that I will get from this!
