I am a 34 year old stay at home mom (something new that I am trying) with 2 daughters.
I have always struggled with my weight, but it was usually only 10 or so pounds. After having my first daughter, I became very fatigued and had trouble keeping the baby weight off that I had managed to lose. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). Unfortuantely, this made my weight problems worse, as your thyroid controls your metabolism and the rate at which you are able to lose weight. Don't get me wrong, I am sure my extremely poor eating habits had something to do with it too! :)
Through the years, I have gone up and down. In 2007, I managed to get back to 140 pounds, but through laziness, fast food, thyroid getting further out of whack, last summer I managed to work myself up to the all-time high of 182. I knew I had to do something....I had all the tools - my beachbody workouts.
Alternating Turbo Jam, Slim in 6 and Slim Series, I have managed to work my way down to 156. The journey is far from close to ending. My ultimate goal would be to reach 130, but realistically, I just want my weight to be in the healthy BMI range, which for me would be in the 140's. I am planning to order Chalean Extreme as a present when I hit 150 and hopefully that program can help me reach my goals.
