My name is Traci and I live in Mission Viejo, California. I have been married to
my high school sweetheart for 21 years and I have 3 kids ages 16, 14 and 6. I
grew up as the only girl in a family with 6 brothers. I have always been
competitive and fairly athletic due to the fact that I had to keep up with all my
brothers. Unfortunately I not only kept up with them athletically, I also kept up

Transformation Story

Because all the boys "ate big," so did I. After playing
volleyball in both high school and college, my activity level decreased but my
eating habits didn't and I found myself overweight More...
Because all the boys "ate big," so did I. After playing
volleyball in both high school and college, my activity level decreased but my
eating habits didn't and I found myself overweight and struggling to get my
figure back. I took for granted my athleticism and thought that I'd always be
fit. But I soon discovered that the cliche "the more input and the less output" is a recipe
for disaster. I continually studied people who understood how to take care of
themselves by eating healthy and exercising. I began the long journey of how
to take care of myself too. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 1991
with the intention of teaching elementary school. But after having my own kids I realized I wanted to pursue my passion for health and
fitness instead. I ultimately decided to get fit myself and this time, for good. I
always loved aerobics but hated weight training. But after deciding to do it
the "right" way, rather than "my" way, I simply ate smaller portions, made
healthier food choices, did cardio AND weight training and took regular
vitamins and supplements. This resulted in not only weight loss, but I really
changed the shape of my body. I was finally healthy, fit and strong. I'm so
glad I did what it took to create a discipline of healthier eating and regular
exercise and that I got certified to become a group fitness instructor and
personal trainer. I'm happy to say that I now get to encourage others to create
a fit and healthy lifestyle for themselves too.
