I'm a brown belt in Shotokan (karate) and enjoy basketball and water sports. I also enjoy taking the family camping and reading science fiction and fantasy novels.

I'm one of those fortunate people that has never had to "watch what they eat" or worry about gaining weight. I've been ~165 lbs for 15 years but I've also not been in great shape. Only 1 or 2 years More...
I'm one of those fortunate people that has never had to "watch what they eat" or worry about gaining weight. I've been ~165 lbs for 15 years but I've also not been in great shape. Only 1 or 2 years out of those 15 have I regularly exercised and that was playing basketball three times a week. I've always wanted to get in better shape and build muscle and a few years ago even bought a bow flex. Even though I'd use the bow flex regularly at times and follow it's training programs I never really gained any significant muscle mass and after seeing no improvements after a month or so I'd loose momentum and interest and fall back into my old routine (of little to no exercise).
Then I learned of P90X and everything changed. It became clear that a proper diet was just as critical as an effective cardio/weight training program. Add to that a great set of supplements and techniques like muscle confusion and a great support group and I feel like I've finally found the perfect training program. When I started P90X I could do only the minimum push ups and pull ups but now only 40 days later I've more than tripled the my reps there and I'm getting a six pack and much more definition everywhere.
We'll its now been 60 days and I'm loving the way I look and feel. My wife tells me she see's it even more than I do! It's also official - I'm addicted to P90X. I look forward to pressing play and pushing myself to the limit. I have more energy and feel better and I make sure I get in my workouts every day. I'm looking forward to day 90 and starting all over again. Bring it!
