I am very pleased with myself for being here voluntarily. You might say that I had a little help from the universe. I turned big(50) last year. And just recently a couple of my close friends had to be hospitalized for heart related symptoms and etc. I have been blessed with good genes. My friends always asked me if I worked out. Well the truth: I have not worked out in over 20yrs. Well, they have stopped asking and they pat my belly instead when they see me. I used to go to the gym regularly lifting, body building and also practiced martial arts. But I became complacent as we sometimes do. I have done some of my best work in the last few years in terms of learning about myself and life but I do not feel that great physically. I know that taking care of self physically is just one piece of the puzzle in the process of learning how to show up for myself day in day out but by just reflecting on my own experience it is impossible to feel the best that I can if I do not take care of myself physically. So I am really excited about working out again, using Shakeology and looking forward to loose the 30-40lb excess weight that I am carrying around, as I prepare for the 2nd half of my life. Just in the last two weeks that I have tried shakeology and the work out CDs I am begining to feel great. I feel great physically, also loosing weight and I have the satisfaction of knowing within that I am taking care of myself like I deserve to be taken care of.
