At 41 years old this year, I have found myself at the crossroads...several to be exact. I didn't feel successful, needed another job, and was trying to pull myself out of a slight depression. I have been married to a wonderful man (7 years in August) that I met through the personal ads (go figure...it really does happen sometimes)!! I am a mother of 2 little girls ages 5 and 3 and a product
I am a mother of 2 little girls ages 5 and 3 and a product trainer for an automotive manufacturer (WOO HOO!!! This is a new job I got at the beginning of the year and I LOVE it!!). Both jobs keep me very busy! I've always tried to workout regularly but lately had found myself becoming more and more sedentary. With a full time job (I've always worked outside of the home) and 2 little ones, exercise took a back seat. After the birth of our second daughter, I never seemed to get back into the "working out thang" and have been trying to get back into my zone and rhythm ever since. So workouts were always sporadic which doesn't do you any good. Hubby and I moved from Michigan to Texas (yeah - I'm a Southerner) about a year and a half ago and now I can't use the "it's too cold outside" excuse anymore. My husband is a huge tennis player and plays on several leagues throughout our city. He ALWAYS get his workout in and I have not been as diligent. I admire his perseverance and discipline. SOOOO...I definitely want to make a go at TJ full force. I need to lead a healthier lifestyle as I have had blood pressure problems in the past. The workouts always helped to relieve my stress, bring the pressure down, and restore my balance. It helps give me a better sense of doing something good for myself, and that's where I want to be. No more excuses for me...I'm pushing play!
