I started using P90X in July, 2009. Some people at my work decided to have a weight loss / fitness competition. The goal was simple, lose the highest percentage of body fat in 3 months. P90X was the focused on program to use for this competition. I started with 36.2% body fat and 241 lbs.

I started using P90X in July, 2009. Some people at my work decided to have a weight loss / fitness competition. The goal was simple, lose the highest percentage of body fat in 3 months. P90X was the focused on program to use for this competition. I started with 36.2% body fat and 241 lbs.
At the end of the competition, I had come down to 27.8% body fat, a 23% loss. I didn't come in 1st and win the pot, but I did make second and lost 32 lbs. in the process, which is still a huge win!!
This motivated me to continue with the program, to continue to work toward an even lower body fat percentage. The initial lose of 31 pounds was great, but that won't be the end.
What I am really looking forward to, is helping others who are similar to myself that aren't happy with where they are and want to change. I'll be honest, a lot of people talk about wanting to change, but never do it because they let the excuses get in the way. Stop letting excuses stop you from getting fit and being happy about who you are. I want to help you get past those excuses, get started, keep pushing play and move on to a healthier and happy lifestyle.
