So, about six months before my 40th birthday I started having conniption fits. I was convinced my life would be downhill after that. Forty is SO OLD.

My husband competes in Half Ironmans. Even my children caught that bug! Now, THEY want to swim, bike and run. I’m not saying that’s bad, but for someone allergic to exercise? YUCK. Any excuse not to exercise is a good excuse.

I had been trying to lose weight for over two years. But with Million Dollar Body in one year, I've lost 30 pounds, 7 inches on my chest, 6 inches on my waist and hips. I also went from 36% body fat to 21%. I have completed two sprint triathlons. I am now continuing to hone my body and tone up.
I just recently completed my 3rd triathlon. This course was somewhat more difficult than the other two that I had attempted in the past. In fact, I had heard that people mentioned I might not be physically able to do it. That really stuck in my head and made me start doubting myself. I wish I had gone the other way and gotten more agressive and been more confident with myself. BUT, I had an absolute BLAST doing the course. Because I had built it up so much in my mind that people doubted me, I had myself thinking it was much harder than it turned out to be for me. I smiled through the whole thing (after I got out of the water, I can't swim and smile at the same time). And I DID IT. Now, I truly have confidence in my abilities and know that anyone can accomplish anything with dedication. Without Team Beachbody, I'm not sure how I would have ended up. The products, the diary, and constantly keeping me on track has done wonders.
