Dear Friend and Future Success Story, I stumbled into the Health Industry as a career by accident in 2001. At that time, I knew very little about coaching anyone on exercising and nutrition. In fact, having a ultimate healthy body, inside and out, was the furthest thing from my mind. I felt I had too many other things to distract me like a job, a family, job, activities, job, school, job, etc. I couldn’t see where exercising and healthy eating would fit into my already busy lifestyle. Thankfully however, through some kind of stroke of good luck I began to learn more about living a ultimate healthy lifestyle. I begin working out at one of the hardcore gyms in Dallas named Texas Gym. Because there were no fitness instructors at the facility to assist me, I begin to study and learn how to design workouts for myself. I receive phenomenal results! The more I learned and listened the more intrigued I became. I started off very slow with little expectation. All of my life I had never been able to lose the excess body fat, so I had little belief that I would be able to develop any kind of lean muscle tone or definition. Much to my surprise, however, I did notice a difference after the first few weeks. In fact, I noticed a difference in all areas of my life. My energy increased, I was more productive, I was a lot less stress, and before I knew it, I realized I actually had more time in my day. That certainly eliminated my theory of “not having the time”! This gave me the motivation to keep going and after just a few months. Since that time, my interest continued to grow to the point where it became natural for me to help people do the exact same thing. So, over the last handful of years I’ve helped people to lose weight, gain weight, increase endurance, get their vitality back for life, and most importantly, improve the quality of their lives. Our potential as human beings is amazing! So, in essence, what I first thought of as a burden has turned out to be my mission. I invite you to share that with me. Working to Become Vitally Fit: In the year 2006 and during the earlier part of this 2007 much of my time was spent working to get others fit. My personal workout was null - unless you count the time spent demonstrating the exercises. But I started my workout - on a consistent basis - early June. But by mid-July I lost my motivation – hate working out alone. So I stopped working out again. But by mid-September cellulite thighs were on the rise so I knew it was time to get back in the groove of working out. I had to take control of my schedule which got totally out of hand while trying to accommodate my clients and customers. I had gone from wearing my ‘sexy’ shorts to the gym to wearing long pants and t-shirts. My before picture says it all -- I look fit at first glance but there is too much body fat hanging around. So I carved out time for my own workouts again. My ‘Rock Star’ body is coming back one day at a time. Yeah!!!! Today is November 4, 2007 (Begin P90X on 10/01/2007 - my birthday month) My starting weight was 152. It took me less than 2 months to gain that weight. If I settled into my routine of not working out I’m afraid of what I would look like today. Women seem to pack it on so quickly. But today I am down to 139 pounds. Yeah! I started 10/1/2007 (my birthday month) with Kenpo X because it reminds me of what I put my boot campers through each session. No, this is not where I recommend most people start out. It’s Intense!!! What a workout! November 12, 2007 Things are looking up. P90X is still a challenge for me. But I can feel the workout. P90X suits me - I like it intense. I've made a lot of progress using P90X. What I like is that it happens so quickly unlike the regular gym workouts. Nothing makes me sweat like P90X Ab Ripper X! March 6, 2008 Still working on my S.E.X.Y. I kind of mix-it-up with the beach body workouts. I like a little P90X mixed with a little P90X+ for a great challenge mixed with a little Shaun T (I own all of Shaun's Hip Hop Abs workouts - including the new ones). Shaun helps me to relieve the stress of the day - he keeps me laughing and having fun with the great Hip Hop Ab moves. My personal training clients are making great inroads toward their fitness success. I feel like I'm just barely hanging on in comparison. But Slasher, one of my clients, has lost 96 pounds of body fat while gaining 41 pounds of lean muscle in just 5 months. So I am using Slasher as my inspiration to begin today SURPASSING MY OWN PERSONAL BEST. Wish me well...want to wear my Skinny Jeans & very Sexy A-Line Dresses again...and… ...for my Sweetheart - I'm on my way to Bringing My SUPER-SEXY Back!!!!
