I'm a single mom, and I've reached an all time high of 265 lbs at 5'7". I started gaining weight when I was 16, after a traumatic cross country move when my dad changed jobs. At that time, I was about 160, and since then I've averaged just about 10 more lbs a year. I was well over 200 lbs with both of my pregnancies, which makes losing any of this weight just that much harder. I'm tired of avoiding doing anything active with my kids, because it will be uncomfortable and embarrassing for me. They deserve better, and truly I do, too.
