Born 9-28-53. 55 years old. I was always in pretty good shape, worked out in spurts. Generally thin/skinny. Stopped working out a few years ago and found myself being fat!. 5'9 ht, 172 lbs is fine for some frames, for me it's wayyyyyy fat: big soft bulge in the middle/skinny arms and legs.
Starting getting back into working out 7-4-2009. I have worked out a lot over the years and know from experience to go very slow and gradual. I didn't want to pull a muscle and be out of commission for a few months.
Now, after ramping up for a month, I'm ready for a small increase in intensity. It's Aug 2, I have already lost 6 lbs.
