My food plan was non-existent, and although I had lost weight in the past, I was the typical yo-yo dieter, losing and gaining, losing and gaining.
I had seen the P90X infomercial many times and had "threatened" to get it but never followed through. Some of the young guys on my shift were doing P90X and having good results so I finally took the plunge! On April 13th, I started my first round of P90X, doing the lean version. I must say it was difficult, as this program is not for the faint of heart! But I stuck with it, and the longer I went without missing a day, the more determined I became. The workouts began to get "easier", but not easy! I was doing more reps, raising the weights, and my pushups were steadily increasing.

I am a P90X graduate! I finished the program in 90 days, completed 99% of the workouts (missed one), and added three extra cardio workouts weekly for the last six weeks. I lost a total of 14 pounds, but lost 19 pounds of fat and added 5 pounds of muscle. I reduced my body fat by 22% and lost 18 inches!
I'm running, preparing for two half-marathons back to back on Saturday/Sunday in mid-October. Also throwing in some P90X Plus workouts, Tony's One on One series, and resting from weights for two weeks.
