I am the Vice President and General Manager of Team Beachbody. I’ve worked in the Diet and Nutrition industry for the last 14 years. There were so many things that went into my decision to join Team Beachbody. There was Carl’s incredible vision as CEO and the whole corporate team’s commitment to providing a real solution for people trying to put their diet and fitness back on track. There were the great products that were backed up by thousands and thousands of success stories. But the thing that really got me was reading all of the stories on the message boards and seeing that the core of Team Beachbody is the incredible supportive community.
As for my fitness, I struggle like most people to find the time to work out. I work long hours and have a healthy commute to boot. But I get up early everyday to make sure that my dog and I get in a run/walk (he likes to run, I like to walk – usually I win). Beyond that I ususally try to squeeze in a couple of Beachbody workouts a week. I do the variety plan approach, usually picking a different program each time. Although lately, I have been huffing and puffing my way through Insanity. If I am lucky, I can also squeeze in a few one on one basketball games with my kids in the backyard. I am proud to say that I still dominate the backyard court (barely), but my boys are only 11 and 14. They both have a better outside shot than me, so I know my days are numbered.
