I've always been "the heavy sister" of my sisters. At my heaviest, I was 215lbs at 5'9". When I was 18, I started running and weight training. I got down to 145lbs; my fittest, by the time I was 20. I wasn't able to maintain my weight. I tried every fad diet under the sun. I got involved with a guy and my time to workout became even smaller, plus I took the Depo shot. My weight shot up to 205! I wasn't able to maintain my weight. I tried every fad diet under the sun. I got involved with a guy and my time to workout became even smaller, plus I took the Depo shot. My weight shot up to 205! In August 2005 I saw an infomercial for Project: You! and I got inspired. I kept losing weight and began to see the fit woman in me again. By my wedding date in May, I got down to 182lbs. I've been doing Turbo Jam since the wedding and I've loved every workout. I'm still working to get to 150lb, at least, and I've been able to maintain my weight-loss; give or take five pounds. I'm still pushing play at least 6 days a week and am trying to eat well. I'm really hoping to get fit enough to have a healthy pregnancy. It's still about 3 years away but I'm not going to get discouraged. I love TJ and I love that new videos keep coming out (I tend to get bored if it's the same ol', same ol'). I've told everyone I know about this site and try to get them to try it. I love BEACHBODY.COM! UPDATE: As of 11.12.2007, I am down to 178lbs. That's a loss of 22 lbs. I'm working to get down to 175 by Thanksgiving, 168 by the end of the year. By my birthday 1.21.2008, I hope to be at my goal of 165. I know I can do it!
