I am 31 years old, Michael's wife of 10 wonderful years, and a mother of two adorable children. Drayton - 7 and Reese - 2. I was a Physical Education major in college with a minor in coaching. One of my passions is college football. The University of South Carolina is my team and I am a faithful fan, even in the not so great seasons! The University of South Carolina is my team and I am a faithful fan, even in the not so great seasons! Once out of college, I got married, got a job, and got into a rut! The once areobics instructor quit doing any working out unless it involved walking across the parking lot of a restuarant. After two children, I have been unable keep my "girlish figure" as us Southern Ladies like to refer to it. I was tired all the time and just felt yucky. I would diet for about hmmmmm a week maybe and then blow that. I have never been obese but carried an extra 20 - 30 pounds. My friends, Jay and Melanie Floyd began doing beach body workouts and I noticed an extreme difference, not only in thier bodies, but also their demeanor. They had energy, were excited about life. The Bible tells us that our body is the temple for the Holy Spirit. When I prayed about what I was able to do, I was convicted by the temple that I had provided for the Holy Spirit. So, with Jay and Melanie's encouraging, I began doing Hip Hop Abs.

After just a couple of months, I can tell a HUGE difference. My clothes are not as tight and I am really seeing some sculpting going on in muscles I didn't realize I had! You still have to dig a little bit though the layer of fat but you can actually feel stomach muscles forming now. My energy level is better than it has been in years. One thing I love is watching my children get excited about exercising. Seeing them seeing me take my health seriously is so important. My son (7 years old) is always encouraging. He tells me that I am skinny and it isn't a layer of fat on my stomach, it is "Momma Meat". When my stress level is up, I press play and feel like a different person after 30 minutes to an hour. I have tried so many other plans, but Beachbody is, by far, the best there is. If you have any questions about your workout or even if you are interested in being a coach yourself, please contact me.
