I am a 37 year old wife and mother. I have two beautiful daughters who are 11 and 7 years old. I have been happily married to my wonderful husband, Reed, for almost 12 years. As you can imagine, they keep me pretty busy. I am a full time nursing student, mom & wife. In addition to that, I also run 2 part-time businesses. I run a part time Stampin' Up! business from my home. I teach classes and do home workshops. I love sharing creative and fun ideas. Then in July of 2007, I became a Team Beachbody Coach. What a truly rewarding decision that was! When I'm not working, I am the Leader for both of my daughters Girl Scout troops and teach church school. I also am currently studying to become a Certified Personal Trainer so that I can take this business to the next level. I am so excited to be able to share what I love and help people to achieve their fitness goals. Plus I really love learning about the body and how everything works. I find it so fascinating! Let's just say, there is "never" a dull moment! If I can find the time to work out, anybody can!
Here are the details of my transformation story.
I had gotten so used to doing and being everything to and for everyone else. Along the way, I lost who I was. I think the day that my eyes were opened was in seeing my "before" picture. I remember thinking, "Who is this person?" The other "BIG" wake up call was when I had weighed myself at 183#! That's what I weighed when I gave birth!! It was time for a change.
I decided to watch my diet and start my exercise program (Yet again!-I have always struggled with my weight-always up and down!) I started walking and doing "Great Body Guaranteed" back in June of 2006. It was easy enough and didn't take too long, an average of 45 minutes. I have completed my 3rd round of P90X and I've added P90x+ in just for FUN! I am currently training for the Twin Cities Breast Cancer 3-Day walk. I have been averaging between 6 to 8 miles per day. (With an occasional 12 mile walk thrown in. I'm trying to work up to 20 miles to prepare for the walk.) During the 3-Day walk, we will walk 60 miles over 3 days to raise money for Breast Cancer. I feel so blessed to be a part of such an amazing cause. So when people always say: "There just isn't time to exercise!"(trust me, I know-I was one of them!!) There may not be time, but YOU need to MAKE the time, YOU need to become your PRIORITY and MAKE the time for YOURSELF!
I haven't missed a day since the end of June 2006. I have never felt or looked better. It is so amazing to me that I was wearing a size 14-16 and I now wear a size 4. I still can't believe it! I lost 56# and 43 3/4 inches. Not to bad for someone who is only 5' 3 1/2". I have done all the diets, quick fixes, and programs out there-there is "NO" magic pill. The only times that I have been successful were when I was working out. Now if I would just continue with it, I wouldn't need to re-start! This time I'm Keeping IT off! I now have the knowledge, the tools(shear determination~wink!) and the support of my Team Beachbody friends!!

I am finding out that as long as I work out every day and watch my diet, I am able to maintain my weight. Working out just needs to be a WAY of LIFE for me. It keeps my body healthy as well as my mind. As an added bonus, it really helps to relieve my stress.
