I haven't always been consistent and had the lack of result to prove it. At 5'8" the weight fluctuations were easier to hide for the most part. My closet has clothes in sizes that would accommodate my bad habits. While I appeared to be trim at times would consider myself unfit and skinny fat. While I appeared to be trim at times would consider myself unfit and skinny fat. My turn around point was a Nov. 06 trip to South Beach, Miami. While it was a fantastic time and we did run once on the boardwalk the rich foods caught up with me and that contributed to the 15 lbs during that season. I fell into a seasonal funk with Thanksgiving came more weight, Christmas was more of the same. The funk turned to depression and in the depression I turned to snacking at night. It was nothing to blow through a bag of smart food with a chocolate chaser. Before I knew it I had outgrown my largest size in my closet and needed to shop for larger clothes just to go to work. It was March of 07 and we had another trip planned which lit a fire under my now larger backside. I just couldn't get my mind around it this time and while I was working out it wasn't to full potential. I needed help and found it with an online workout group of people who posted encouragement to each other. I lost 15 pounds by June 07 and remember going out with my DH on a warm evening in a pair of shorts. That whole night I knew my cellulite was hanging out of the back and was embarrassed. The summer came and went with me settling in the my current weight but I hid in my own yard. I exercised but wasn't eating right and wasn't still wasn't serious enough to really be happy with the results. In October of 07 I jumped into another type of message board with Beachbody members, that was just what I needed to kick my fitness into high gear. I lost the last 5 pound quickly, started to work all of my body parts; abs and legs included. I found that having accountability with nutrition trackers and real time goals really works for me. My weight still is changing but in small increments, now it is the tape measure that tells the story as I am reaching fitness levels I have never thought possible even at 45 years old. The cellulite is starting to thin out and I can see some definition in my thighs for the first time ever.. yeah me.... JJ My Progress My Fitness Goal: Get Healthy Transformation Story

I was always interested in fitness and would loosely follow a schedule but not enough to give me the look I desired or hoped for. I wandered aimlessly around a bunch of lifts that became routine and boring so losing interest was common. Fifteen years of working out at a gym aimlessly believing that workout DVD's were for sissies had gotten me nowhere. I needed help and fast and started frequenting message boards for support, each helping in their own way. I realized that meeting like minded people really help me keep my focus and visualize my goals. I found Wowy when searching for a long lost friend during a time I knew I needed support and motivation. I found Xena on Beachbody, finding her and meeting her great group of friends in Wowy has motivated me to become in best fitness shape ever. I started using Beach Body in January of 2009 and it was instant love, I realized DVD's kicked it up a notch. I am looking forward to exploring all the programs Beach Body has to offer. My first program to complete was P90X, it was love at first workout. After 20 years of the same old routine it was nice to just let the pro's do the thinking and just try to follow along. Running the DVD in the morning before work was the best part of my day, I loved the blood pumping challenges. I certain felt stronger and more agile almost immediately with a new spring to my step. People started making comments which is not something that has never happened to me before. I was amazed at the transformation in my appearance and ability to better my performance on the workout logs. I can do things now that I don't think I could do as a teenager. It is hard to explain the way this program makes you feel about yourself and how it improves more than just your physical self. I have self confidence to try new things and experiences in life, for once I am having fun. I loved Tony and P90X but I knew my busy spring gardening/work schedule wouldn't allow another round of the X so I tried ChaLEAN Extreme® for the next round. ChaLEAN is another great workout, quick, efficient and heart pounding. The slow reps give me the time to really look at my form and fix anything wonky. I love ChaLEAN for her perky upbeat attitude and amazing workout crew. My latest addition was a must have as a Yoga workout on a Hawaiian beach. Ho Ala ke Kino is another great routine to work into a tight time slot. It was filmed in 2004 and has beautiful background scenery, my husband loves the early intermission for some reason. :) I travel with that DVD now and love the morning rejuvenation when on the road trying beat travel stresses. I am just now starting the lean phase of ChaLEAN Extreme® so I am very excited to push play and for the latest challenges. I can't wait to see what wonderful things my future brings.. I can't wait to explore the other programs I still throw in a YogaX or Xstretch on my rest days just because I love them so much and core synergy too.
