At the end of 2007, I started working alot of hours ... usually about 15 to 16 hours a day, generally averaging 6.5 days per week. Keeping those hours, I found myself eating late at night, stuffing myself with lots of chocolate and potato chips and drinking lots of coca-cola and coffee, while all the time smoking like a chimney!
The above bad-habits and the fact that I quit smoking on July 29, 2008, and ended my job (August 31, 2008), lead me to gain a whopping 15 lbs on a tiny little frame. None of my clothing that I just bought the year previous fit anymore! I feel round, round, round! The fat sitting on my stomach is really quite gross, but the problem is that I think I've substituted all the changes that happened in my life with stuffing myself full of food!
I'm now trying to get back into shape and build back my self-confidence! I started the P90X on July 29, 2009. Since then I've missed a couple of workouts but I hope I will stay on track from now on! My goal is to fit back into the clothing that I bought back in early 2008! I don't care that much about the weight ... cause I think muscles weigh more than fat ... what I am concerned about it getting fit, looking good, and feeling good about myself. So wish me luck!
