I saw the P90X infomercial and decided to give it a go since nothing else I was doing at the time was working for me anymore. Although I've been happy with the strength gains I've gotten during my first Phase of P90X, I've decided to switch to Turbo Jam and running, because I'm still looking to lose 15-20 more pounds. I'm counting down to my cruise to the Mexican Riviera at the end of August. I just want to be comfortable, lean and healthy.

I’m a 30 year old, semi-single, young and pretty New York City girl.
A few years ago I was a food junkie. I almost literally got high off of eating, mostly because I was unhappy with certain aspects of my life and used food to cope with what was bothering me. Food made me happy and helped me to forget what was bothering me, but only temporarily. After I was done eating and eating and eating, I still had to deal with the issues that were making me unhappy, AND I had added another issue into the mix: my weight. By the time I had gotten myself together enough to fix the things going on in my life, I was over 220 pounds.
I took 40 pounds off with Weight Watchers in 2004, but stopped going to meetings and of course put the weight back on and then some. In January of 2007 I decided to recommit myself TO myself, to fitness and a healthier lifestyle. I’ve lost 60 pounds and feel wonderful, physically AND emotionally. I eat better, feel better, and live better that I ever have before. I still struggle with my eating - don’t we all? - but every day is a work in progress.
