I am a 50 something stay at home mother to 3 adult boys (who also still stay at home), an almost adult hubby and 3 dogs. Live in Canada, where we seem to have only 2 seasons: hot, humid summers and cold snowy winters. In winter, it is harder to stay active because of the weather but I do try to X-country ski and snowshoe. Failing that, it is easier to hop on a plane and go to sunnier climes!

I have worked out regularly for the past 4 years doing weights. Two years ago I took up running and this year I started cycling. It is the only way I enjoy doing any cardio unless I do circuit training at the gym. I lost 20 lbs and close to 30 inches the first year and have basically maintained since. However, I am still not where I want to be. A friend saw the infomercial for P90X, I checked it out and decided to take the plunge. We are in Day 2 of the program and are loving it(Well okay, not the Yoga so much!). We will continue to push play and in 88 days expect to not only have a new body, but be able to do those pull ups unassisted!
