I am a mom of 4 kids. My husband just returned from deployment(NAVY). I am trying to get in shape for me. I am not overweight however, very out of shape and flacid at the moment but that is soon to change. My goal is to be to be in such good shape to be a certified TJ Kick instructor and to run the Boston marathon in 5 years. Eventually I would like a career in fitness and nutrition.

I am 37 years old, married and with 4 kids. I am starting today with no excuses as to why to not workout. I am currently in physical therapy for lower back pain. I strongly believe if I drop the 20 pounds and strengthen my body all over I will probably not have such a problem with low back pain. I worked out during my last pregnancy 4 years ago and after it but have slowly put the weight on since then. I do get bored easily with doing the same workout all the time so I am trying to have variety. I am currently enrolled in a gym until may of 2010. I can honestly say I like the the classes there the most especially the yoga,zumba and pilates classes. I have many beachbody programs here at home so there really isn't any excuse not to workout. I know it is a matter of consistency and discipline on my part.
