Hi, I am new to MyBeachbody. I am hoping this will help me get into the best shape ever.
I am and Emergency Room nurse and work 12 hr. shifts. I usually work 3 days a week but sometimes it is more like 4-5 days a week, including night and day shifts.
I also have a family that demands my time.
My biggest obstacle to getting into shape is finding the time to work out.

I started the Slim in 6 workout on 1/26/07 with my sister as support. The first 3 weeks were really hard, because I would run out of steam. I didn't think I would ever build up stamina. My arms felt like lead. I had a very hard time keeping them up much less moving. Then by the 4th week I could get through the routine, but my arms continued to burn (I have always been weak in the upper body). Week 5 became easier and I could do the arm work, time to move on to Ramp it Up.
Ramp It Up proved to be to much to soon, back to SIU for a few more weeks.
Due to my work schedule of 3-4 12-14 hr. days at the hospital, I was lucky to get in 3-4 workouts a week. This made the progression a little slower. I also did Walk Fit videos about 1-2 workouts a week to build endurance.
I continued this way for 9 1/2 weeks. I am now focusing on RIU until I can master it. I have lost 8 lbs., but haven't remeasured to check on inches yet. I will this weekend, at the end of my phase I of the South Beach diet.
