MONTGOMERY CITY, MO I really didn't start having weight issues until I was in my 20's. I always just chalked it up to genetics. I refused to believe that my weight issues were because of me and my lifestyle!!! GASP that can't be. For about 15 years I did the yo-yo stuff. Just enough to look good, then undo it all. I smoked, I drank, I ate Taco Bell at 1:30 in the morning and I didn't exercise. It all caught up I really didn't start having weight issues until I was in my 20's. I always just chalked it up to genetics. I refused to believe that my weight issues were because of me and my lifestyle!!! GASP that can't be. For about 15 years I did the yo-yo stuff. Just enough to look good, then undo it all. I smoked, I drank, I ate Taco Bell at 1:30 in the morning and I didn't exercise. It all caught up to me that not-so-fine day in January 07. The scales did not lie. Enough was enough. I will not repeat my transformation story, but it was a journey. I want it sustainable, so it is now my life. In January 2007,I weighed over 200 pounds. I had to do something. I began by joining a local Biggest Loser Challenge (I finished in 2nd place). In February, I joined Nutrisystem to help stay on track during my travels for work. I dropped 47 lbs. on NS. During my weight loss journey, I knew that I needed to exercise. I tried joining a gym. It was hard to get to it everyday. Then, by luck, I stumbled upon Yoga Booty Ballet. I loved it!!! I did the program everyday. In December, 2007, I decided to try Slim in 6 and was challenged and satisfied. Now, I'm moving on to Turbo Jam. I am loving it. I love to say this, I am a "weight loss and got healthy success story". I have been wanting to help people out with their weight and health, so I decided to become a Coach.
