My Photos | coachcisco Where do I start....it is hard to put into words at times, how often I have failed. Like some of you, I was in good shape in High School, but struggled as a child with my weight. My activities in High School kept me busy and working out was a daily routine for me. So where did it all go downhill....I can't really put a finger on the day.....but for years it has been a battle. I am a father of Where do I start....it is hard to put into words at times, how often I have failed. Like some of you, I was in good shape in High School, but struggled as a child with my weight. My activities in High School kept me busy and working out was a daily routine for me. So where did it all go downhill....I can't really put a finger on the day.....but for years it has been a battle. I am a father of two wonderful children and I just need to get into shape, period!!! I grew up as a Navy Brat and moved all over. I was born in Rota, Spain and speak Spanish. Mainly conversational Spanish, but it is getting better each year. I have a lot of family that is in Spain and try to visit often. I even did a stint in the military myself. Growing up I struggled with my weight and in middle school I got huge. The great thing about High School is my extra- curricular sports and programs kept my weight down. I found out many things about myself and now as I get older, I am not afraid to share my experiences with others. Years ago, I would put up a shield and deny anything was wrong with me. Now I have a great relationship with my wife and we are working out together. I can speak openly with her and it has helped me feel confident. I am starting this program to change my life once and for all. I am tired of being ashamed of my body and hearing all the comments about my size. Even other people that may be out of shape will pick on someone in worst shape than them. Now I want to become a success story for weight loss. I have plenty of excuses that would keep me from doing this program, but my friend Jay and my wife Susan have convinced me that I am worth the effort and the excuses are not a roadblock anymore. I have a heart condition that I had surgery on January 03, 2008, I have arthritis in my knees, my left shoulder has a bone spur that kills me when I try to use it strenuously, both my heels have large scars on them from prior Achilles Tendon surgeries... So do I have enough excuses...of course I do....Can I do this program....YOU BETCHA!!!! There are so many fitness videos; you just need to find the right one. I plan on getting out of my rut with the help of this program and my coaches. I can't wait to start so that next summer when I visit my family in Spain, I can show off my hard work!!! I look forward to working with you to achieve "OUR" goals together!!! I started this program in November 2007, the week of Thanksgiving. Not the best week to test my temptation to food...LOL Even with this being such a big eating week in our culture, I lost a pound when I weighed myself the day after Thanksgiving. That means I have in that short amount of time started turning my body into a fat burning machine!!! I look forward to continued success. I can't believe the strength I am feeling from pushing play each day. I am a person that needs instant results and I believe that I already feel and see them. I still have a ways to go, and pray that my health will continue to improve. Even during the weeks were my weigh in doesn’t show a huge drop like in the first weeks, I still stay positive. I continue to lose points in my Body Fat percentage and lose more inches!!! All is takes is to “Keep pushing play everyone.” The Slim in 6 program really works me out. I get such a sweat going and my legs and arms feel the burn. I think my calories may be too low some days. I need more energy...never thought I could cut too much out of my diet. Hard to think of eating more when you want to lose weight isn’t it. The Club member area has great meal plans; I think it is time to get more serious about proper eating and not just cutting back what I eat. Now that my heart surgery is over, I can push myself even harder. My doctor’s limited my activities for two weeks following my surgery which drove me crazy. I can’t believe how stoked I am to push play. I now look forward to the squats…another first for me. Debbie is truly amazing at getting me to work harder. My wife and I talk all the time about how excited we are. We are now working out together and even our kids join in. My teenage son loves doing the Hip Hop Abs and we do that together as well. I am going to get the “Tony and the Kids” video to keep my younger daughter moving. She loves to exercise so I want to keep her enjoying it and hopefully I can get my kids to make it a way of life for them. The Activit vitamins keep me feeling good and the protein bars and such a great and convenient snack for me. I work in a steel mill and sometimes need to grab a snack and get back on the job. They make it easier and taste great. Let me know if any of you need my opinions or answers on any of the supplements. I will get back to you as soon as possible. I check my emails multiple times a day. UPDATE: Now I am on my journey to complete the P90 program. My goal is to do all the workouts one at a time. It is a good goal and one we should all make. It is a life time goal...not something I or you should expect to occur in 90 days and then thats it... Why does food taste so good...LOL...this is always a hurdle for all of us. Keep it up everyone, let transform ourselves into some BEACH BODIES!!!
