Welcome to Beachbody! Let me tell you about my fitness background. Somehow, I was lucky. Fitness has always been a part of my life. I grew up watching my mother exercise every day. Most of the time, it was Jack LaLanne, Dorothy Craig, or the President’s Physical Fitness test. She was and still is an incredible role model. But, believe it or not, exercise has never been “easy” for me. I had to find clever ways to get myself hooked on fitness. However, the benefits of working out were limitless--I was healthier, I liked the way my clothes fit, and mentally I felt fantastic. That’s why I believe I am a good coach. I can relate to the average person who needs more than a nudge to get started. If you think you are too old, too overweight, or too uncoordinated--you aren’t! I am passionate and committed to helping you find a solution that will make your fitness journey “stick.”
Several tips to help you get started:
1. Decide to change your life TODAY.
2. LOG onto WOWY and become accountable to yourself, other fitness friends, and your coach (me) every time you workout.
3. Commit and put your fitness goal in action. If you need guidance, I can recommend one based on your goals and interests. Just shoot me an email.
4. Check out Beachbody’s nutrition and supplement products. You are now an athlete and need to fuel your body to maximize your results.
5. Eat every 2 hours. Skipping meals can slow down your metabolism and ultimately sabotage your goals.
Fitness has influenced literally every aspect of my life and I am looking forward to helping you find your fitness “passion.” Coach Donna M
