As a former college athlete, I fell into the typical rut of going to the gym intermittently and not eating as healthy as I should. Naturally, the pounds continued to climb until I reached my highest weight, 210 lbs! My doctor told me that I definitely needed to lose some weight. I had never heard this in my life; being fit from years of basketball and football. My chiropractor told me about an extreme program based on muscle confusion, entitled Power 90 Extreme. I quickly went to the website and begin excited and anxious to begin. I started P90x around the middle of May 2008 and absolutely loved it! After the shock and soreness began to subside, I began seeing results within the first week and a half. However, in week four of my first round was when I decided to truly follow the P90x diet guide. That's when the dramatic results kicked in and I got down to 183 lbs, and was in way better shape than when I was a college basketball player. After P90x, I did a round of P90x Plus and now I incorporate Tony Horton's One-on-One workouts and the INSANITY! program. I now know that health and fitness will be a natural part of my life and daily routine.

The biggest thing for me has been the dieting. The first two weeks I didn't do the diet. I still saw results, but I knew there was another level. Since I started the diet, I have seen a drastic change. I can finish my workouts strong and my midsection has leaned out.
