I am a young professional and work hard every day to improve my life in many areas - my career, fitness, nutrition, relationships (romantic, family and friends) and my finances of course. I am a young professional and work hard every day to improve my life in many areas - my career, fitness, nutrition, relationships (romantic, family and friends) and my finances of course. That all comes with the territory of being young. I'm working to establish myself and set a standard for who I want to be.
I work full-time in an office job and waitress on the weekends. I sometimes find it hard to fit in workouts, but I've made them a priority. I used to be a dancer in high school and after I gave it up I stopped being active and didn't see myself as an athlete. Well now I do, thanks to Beachbody. It has changed my life.

My transformation story is not over. I don't think anyone's is. I began using Beachbody programs in the summer of 2006. I started out with Yoga Booty Ballet because it motivated the dancer inside of me to be active again. I loved it, and they are tough workouts, let me tell you. But they have such a great variety that I really didn't get bored. I fell off the wagon so-to-speak for a bit while finishing up college - finished my MBA in May of 2007 and moved away for the new "grown-up" job.
As I started my career transformation journey I decided to start my fitness transformation journey as well. I realized that I am in control of my "destiny" and that with some hard work I could reach my goals for my career and health/fitness. And so here I am working. I bought Turbo Jam in the summer of 2007, and love love loved it. Chalene is awesome. Again, the variety motivated me and the intensity got me into shape. I then decided to take it up a notch and do P90X. I was in need of the structure and the guide to tell me what I should be doing when. I learned so much from it that I think I could survive planning my own workout schedule. This program is great and it taught me that I am tougher than I think I am. I saw definition in muscles I forgot I had. I gained energy and stamina and my diet is now much cleaner. And for women who are hesitant to purchase this program, don't worry - you won't get bulky and you CAN do it. This program is for both genders.
Now I've started a new program - ChaLEAN Extreme by the lovely Chalene Johnson. Giving it a go and loving it, with a targeted finish date of March 27th. Hoping to take off those last stubborn 10 pounds.
I just want to say that I love representing a company that is honest and does so much for their customers and employees. With no other fitness company could you find this type of support from others in the fitness community and rewards given just for showing up and doing your best. I have recently signed up to be a coach and am so pumped to be part of such a great thing.
