Hello all! My husband and I have had the Power90 workout DVD's for three years now. Started it, finished 5 successful weeks then went on vacation, then that was the end of that. I have tried just dieting and walking (usually 3 miles everyday) but the weight never seemed to come off like I expected. Then I got pregnant (again... It is true the older you get the body just doesn't bounce back as Hello all! My husband and I have had the Power90 workout DVD's for three years now. I have tried just dieting and walking (usually 3 miles everyday) but the weight never seemed to come off like I expected. Then I got pregnant (again... It is true the older you get the body just doesn't bounce back as quickly. During my pregnancy I developed gestational diabetes and had to completely control my carb intake. Believe it or not, I lost weight while I was pregnant. I was able to fit into clothes that I was not able to fit into before I became pregnant. I was pumped! So pumped that I started going back to bad eating habits again - fast food, french fries...snacking late w/ my hubby. So here I am now - I am motivated to shed this weight I've gained since the baby and get back down to my ideal weight for my height. The time is now!!!
Update, I started on 12/18/2006, then went out of town for a week and didn't take my DVD's...bad move. So, I started again on 1/15/2007!

Update: 2/12/2007 Well, it's been 30 days and I feel GREAT! Not much weight lost, but the workouts are becoming easier to finish and I can power through all of them. As I continue on into this More...
Update: 2/12/2007 Well, it's been 30 days and I feel GREAT! Not much weight lost, but the workouts are becoming easier to finish and I can power through all of them. As I continue on into this next 30 days, I will be cutting out the starches (especially french fries). I also believe I'd lose more weight if I cut out this starch.
Update: 3/27/2007 - It has been over 60 days now and I'm feeling so much better. I can see/feel the weight loss in my clothes and feel it when I'm able to do so much more activities w/ my baby girl Maya. My husband mbrummer06 has started his workout too, which is an added encouragement to me. Thanks babe! We both want to live as long as possible for each other and our family.
