Around Sept 1st, after a doctor visit showed me that my blood pressure and cholesterol was through the roof, I had a reality check. Knowing that my mother passed away at 55 of a heart attack and my father at age 60 of cancer. I clearly understand how short life can be.

I weighed in at 337 lbs and my doctor said if I wanted to stay alive I needed to get my blood pressure and cholesterol under control.

Having the background of being a martial arts instructor and practitioner I understood that it takes hard work to get into shape.

I've also had 5 knee surgeries (2 being ACL replacements). Which is the underlying cause for me becoming inactive.

I knew that exercise alone wasn't going to cut it. I started making gradual but permanent changes in my diet, life style and fitness.

I've currently lost 46 lbs and have joined beach body because I love helping others and want to spend the rest of my life helping others succeed. It motivates me greatly to motivate others.
