Las Vegas, NV Hi there. My name is Marcus, otherwise known as DotNetCoach. I’m a computer programmer by trade…and a closet fitness fanatic. I’ve been a chronic [exercise] starter for some years now, but thanks to my better half, Charlene (CoachCMClay), I’ve developed a new love for fitness. Like some of you, I let life get in the way of my being fit. This time around, I’m looking to reverse that trend by Hi there. My name is Marcus, otherwise known as DotNetCoach. Like some of you, I let life get in the way of my being fit. This time around, I’m looking to reverse that trend by making fitness as routine for me as going to work. Thankfully, I’m not going at this alone this time. In addition to my wife, I have all of you to make sure I stay on track.
I’m encouraging all of you to start taking your fitness seriously, if you haven’t already been. The deck is stacked against us, but I believe we can knock this one out of the park. Well, my initial goal was to get down to the magic weight of 225. It's a number that stuck in my head from a line in Superman The Movie ("...around 6 foot 4...225..."). I've since surpassed that. More...
Well, my initial goal was to get down to the magic weight of 225. It's a number that stuck in my head from a line in Superman The Movie ("...around 6 foot 4...225..."). I've since surpassed that. The last number I saw on the scale was 214; I can't tell you the last time I've seen that number. Nowadays, I'm focused less on the number and more on incorporating health & fitness into my everyday life. I'm eating a whole lot better than I used to. My wife and I even take our Beachbody workouts on vacation with us...after all, they are DVDs so we just push past the "on vacation" excuse and do it. We became coaches because we wanted to spread the word about how much better life is when you're in better shape. Best of all, it's not as hard as people think to get into better shape. We just dove in head first. After those first 90 days with Power90, we never looked back. Now we're having fun just seeing how hard we can push ourselves. We're also telling everyone about the success that we've had and continue to have with Beachbody programs. It truly is awesome.
