Between the ages of 19 and 29, I went to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, but was very inconsistent about it. Within the last 10 years, excercise was not a priority. I would get started for a month or two and then quit.I started walking every day about a year ago after seeing a picture of myself with my son after he was born. I was NOT happy with what I saw. What had happened to me! My blood pressure was elevated and I had no outlet for dealing with the stress of my job. I weighed 192 pounds when I started and lost a few pounds and inches with walking alone. I still wasn't happy with what I looked like after 3 months of that, so I started going to the gym 6 days a week. I used light weight and did higher reps. I saw results for a while but plateaued and didn't improve any more. I was getting frustrated. I had seen an infomercial of P90X almost a year ago and wanted to get it then, but didn't think I was ready for it yet. After much encouragement from my wife and her friends, I decided to order P90X. I'm hoping to finally get the ripped body (abs) that I've always wanted. So my journey begins...
