That way, we can get connected and I can help you on your way!!! Okay back to my info! I have been a Type 1 diabetic (Juvenile Diabetes) since age 9. I have Hypothyroidism and Celiac disease. I decided to try P90X because when I stopped working out after having 8 surgeries over 2 years and breaking 4 ribs flying off a horse (no kidding I flew over his head!) I decided I don't want people to think I have diabetes from being lazy and fat, I wanted to be back at my fitness model look and weight. Since I have always ate right being a diabetic with Celiac disease meaning NO WHEAT/GLUTEN I had no problem as I never ate too much or ate bad foods, it was the Hypothyroidism and surgeries that made me gain weight besides not working out and turning 40 made it even more difficult to keep weight off and be naturally toned as when I was before! I've always been skinny! Do you know how frustrating that can be to have always been thin and then not be? Well P90X has helped me lose over 15 lbs in 21 days! I was so happy with BeachBody I bought Chalene Extreme too! Now I joined as a coach! I do have a Black Belt in Kenpo and Kung Fu, I am a Certified Spencer Mat Pilates Instructor and a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer. I am a Cessna and Aerobatic (in Decathalons) Pilot (with my Type 1 diabetes I'm not allowed to fly commercial planes...bummer) and besides personal training I am a Commercial and Residential Investment RE Broker. I am also a Master Scuba Diver and I love to play Golf, Tennis, Run marathons (with walking thrown in since I'm not a great runner), kayak in Dana Point and Newport Harbor, go hiking super big mountains and take my awesome dog everywhere to go run and walk and explore! I WANT to do a bunch of things before I die, you know that bucket list. Let's see...here are some: I want to learn how to water ski. I can tear it up on a waverunner, but I want to water ski, or wake board, so far I tried that once at the river and b/c I was being a blonde like I am I put baby oil on my legs to get tan and then when I was ready to ski I flew out of the boots, ha ha. So that's on my list to do without the oil this time. :-) I want to parachute, I love to fly planes, wear parachutes when I fly aerobatic planes, but I want to jump out! Get really good at rock climbing Do a Triathalon a year along with the marathons I do. Have the best HBA1c resdings of any Type 1 diabetic out there. Climb Mt. Whitney, that's a HUGE goal of mine but I need more climbing practice so if any of you are climbers in California and want to help someone get better at it, please let me know! Visit Europe, go scuba diving in the Bahamas and Belize Go shark diving Get a Hummer (the vehicle). I know it's silly, but I have always wanted one. Get better at breathing while running and hiking/climbing, make my lungs stronger. I know I have a bunch more, but I will add them along the way, ,:-) I will write more here soon! I have been a Fitness Model for years and then I have had 7 surgeries in the past 3 years which have caused me to lose tone and muscle. I FINALLY can workout again hardcore the way I like and P90X is GREAT for that! I tried the cardio thing with a program called Boogie Box, I lost 15 lbs but was still not toned up. Cardio is great for the heart but muscle burns fat and gets you lean! Yay for P90X, now I'm getting back to my modeling shape again, see my picture?
