I am currently 31 years old and happily married to my husband of nearly 5 years (in May). I am also a proud mother of a beautiful 3 1/2 year old little girl who gives me a reason to laugh and smile every day. I stayed a consistant weight all through high school and college of around 130 pounds. Then I went to grad school and the weight came. I graduated and then went through some personal struggles in my life and gained a little more. I was heavier than I wanted when I got married (which is also actually my current weight). But I became comfortable and went on to gain a little more. I wanted to become pregnant so I dieted and exercised and lost 20 pounds (which was my goal) and easily became pregnant and had a relatively easy pregnancy and delivery. I lost all but 10 pounds of my pregnancy weight, but then over the years put it all back on and reached my max weight of 186 pounds. My work had a contest for weight loss and it was quite motivating. I came in 10th out of 255 people after losing about 17 pounds. I'm ready to keep my success going so I joined looking for more "peer pressure" to keep me going. I haven't put up a "before photo" yet because I only think of taking it AFTER my workout...when I look a wreck! I'll get one up soon!!!
