I was never the "fat kid". My mom always kept me active in ballet, gymnastics, and I was a cheerleader in high school. I also wasn't one of the "skinny people". I was right in the middle eating More...
I was never the "fat kid". My mom always kept me active in ballet, gymnastics, and I was a cheerleader in high school. I also wasn't one of the "skinny people". I was right in the middle eating whatever I wanted and praying to burn it off later. After I had my first daughter I gained about 40 pounds, and through the tredmill and diet lost it, but after my second daughter my body changed. I had gained about 30 pounds, and it was so much harder to get off!! The tredmill was not working for me anymore and I knew it. Then one day I saw a friend from high school talking about turbokick and turbo jam and how awesome it was. I checked out the website and I was hooked. I bought the turbo jam videos and joined beachbody. I'm now doing Chalean Extreme and loving it. I even started running out side and watching my diet again. My self esteem is coming back, I battled with post pardum depression after my second child. Exercise is one of the best things you can do for yourself and others.one thing I want to say is something has to click. It truly is mind over matter. There are days when I don't want to do any exercise at all, but I think about my goals and how great I feel after I work out and that pushes me out the door, or to the gym :) I'm still growing in my fitness and personal life so come with me on my journey :)
