I saw an infomercial for P90X and it made me excited to see those people transform their bodies in 90 days. I purchased the program and immediately started browsing the Beachbody website. It was here inside the website where you have to log in and use a password that I discovered the Coach opportunity. I have always had an entrepreneurial soul. I have I stumbled on Beachbody in April 2008. I saw an infomercial for P90X and it made me excited to see those people transform their bodies in 90 days. I purchased the program and immediately started browsing the Beachbody website. It was here inside the website where you have to log in and use a password that I discovered the Coach opportunity. I have always had an entrepreneurial soul. I have tried several multi-level marketing companies and truly appreciate what they have to offer. First thing I look for is a solid product, one that I believe in. Then I look at the compensation plan, it must be obtainable and realistic. If it promises that you can get rich quick, which you do not have to work very hard then I am skeptical. Beachbody has such wonderful programs and products. The compensation plan is set up that if you work hard and share your experience that you will succeed. It is not a get rich quick scheme at all. There are three very important roles that you must do; Play, Shake and Share. You must play the game, commit to work out at least 20 times in a 30 day period. You commit to replace at least one meal a day with one of the meal replacement products (shake) that Beachbody has to offer. Most importantly you must be willing to share your Beachbody experience with everyone you care about. My story is quite simple; I have always been physically active. Growing up throughout high school I was physically active. When I joined the Air Force I remained physically active due to my job working in the gym. I started teaching aerobics, weight training, and was also responsible for the Intramural and Varsity sports programs. I played on the varsity basketball team too! From 1985-1990 I was really into aerobics, I participated in several competitions, as well as received my national certification for teaching aerobics. At one point I was teaching 11 classes a week throughout Colorado Springs, CO. I taught at Peterson AFB, Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD), Fort Carson Army Base and Colorado University. I was totally addicted to teaching and working out. Then life happened, I had children ten years apart from each other. My first daughter was born when I twenty-four and I had my last daughter when I was thirty-four. After my first pregnancy I was able to bounce back to my normal physically fit body. After number two child my metabolism changed. I went from a size three to a size nine and sometimes a size twelve. My abdominals have never been the same either. Between the births of my two daughters I had a life threatening miscarriage which required a cesarean. If you have had a cesarean then you know that your body is never quite the same again. My abdominals now have a pooch that I absolutely cannot stand. I have been embarrassed to wear a bikini because I feel fat and unattractive. This past summer I will turned forty-five and decided it was time to reclaim my body! I wanted to stop the clock and get my pre-child body back. For the past ten years I have been meeting the Air Force standards in weight and physical fitness. The problem is that I am “just” meeting the standards. I want to exceed the standards! Throughout the year of 2009 I had been running 4-6 miles, at a minimum of four times a week. I could run 6 miles in 1 hour and I knew this was a good pace and I felt great when I am done. Before I started Beachbody I just couldn’t seem to loose this excess body fat that slowly crept into my life. Now with Beachbody I am having my Shakeology meal replacement on a daily basis, I am pushing play in WOWY (Work Out With You) at least 4 days a week sometimes 5 days a week. The results are proven I am finally conquering the fat. I have gone from a size 9/10 to a six 6/8 since April 2008. Everyone I see complements me on my appearance. I have more energy and absolutely happier about my body these days. My desire is to be a lean, mean fighting machine. The Air Force motto is being “Fit to Fight”! That is what I want. Since I started Beachbody last year, I have improved my overall health and wellness. I actually maxed out my fitness test which was my goal. However, I still have a way to go for my own standards and I am getting ready to step it up a notch by doing a full 90 days of the the P90X program. Since I started in April 2008 I have seen some nice changes. What I have noticed most is what other people say when they see me. They ask me what I have been doing differently, they tell me how great I look. My clothes are getting loser and that is a good thing! I have lost inches in some places and gained inches in others. I still have the pooch that I do not like. I do know that my diet has not been 100% of what it needs to be. I have bounced from one exercise program to another, not really giving 100% to any program. Now I am ready to see REAL results and my daughter Krystal is too. We have decided to start the P90X program for the full 90 days. I look forward to the results!
