I like so many others have been a big person. I was born in New York City, and then moved at the age of 4 to a farm in Pennsylvania. I was always big, and could remember having to buy pants a couple More...
I like so many others have been a big person. I was born in New York City, and then moved at the age of 4 to a farm in Pennsylvania. I was always big, and could remember having to buy pants a couple of sizes larger, just to fit around my thighs! I loved to eat even at an early age. Being on a farm and working my butt off, kept my weight manageable.

I have been the typical yo-yo dieter, and have tried just about every diet and gimmick out there. Some of them with fast results, but none of them worked for the long term. I have never kept the weight off for any considerable amount of time, until now.

At the peak of my weight (255 lbs), I had to be put onto blood pressure medication because it was so out of control.
I was watching TV one morning in April 2007, and I saw the infomercial for P90X. I decide it was time, and even though it looked hard I knew I could do it.

I started the program and was going full force until I got sick. It set me back for a period of time, and I lost track and focus of what my goals were.

In August of 2007, we went to the beach. My wife showed me some picture that she took of me, and I was shocked. How did I let myself get so big AGAIN?
I swore then, that I would never have my vacation pictures look that again. So I joined the club, and started posting to the message boards. It was probably the best move I have ever made in my life.

It has now been over a year of P90X, and what I ride it has been.
I have met many new friends, and have learned so much.

Never again will I let myself get so far out of shape as I was.
