Cincinnati, OH I am 24 and a second year graduate student in a field of health psychology. Considering the field I chose, I decided to commit myself to ¡§walk the walk¡¨ and get myself in the best shape I could be.

Hmm, where do I start? Well, I¡¦ve been overweight pretty much my whole life. I discovered Beachbody while staying up one night writing a paper. Don¡¦t ask me what possessed me to turn the TV on at 4 am and let alone order something I saw on infomercial, but I¡¦m glad I did. I started (the first few times ƒº ) with Power 90. Got great results, but did not finish it through the end. For the sake of variety, I later ordered Slim in 6 and another year later Turbo Jam. I¡¦m very happy with all the programs. Moving to a different state (Ohio) away from family and friends and starting graduate school was very stressful. My schedule, my eating habits, my sleeping habits were all out of wack, causing crazy fluctuations in my weight. As I got more used to the new environment, beginning January 2007 I went back to exercising regularly and eating healthy. I lost about 10 lbs by the end of January and was very excited. Unfortunately, in the beginning of February there was a death in my family. I went back to Chicago for almost two weeks, missing school. Obviously, my workout and healthy eating habits suffered severely, especially as I came back to loads of missed work, stress, and no sleep. Currently, I am attempting to find balance in my life and am back on my journey of becoming as healthy as I can be. I know I can do it! I¡¦ve done it before. It¡¦s all about commitment and not letting little set backs discourage me from my goal. I know that before I can help other people stay healthy, I should start with myself. So here I go! Let¡¦s do it! My next goal is to tackle next 20 lbs in the next 6 weeks, and I know that with the help of Debbie (Burn it up! Oh yeah!) and Chalene, I can do it!
