I'm hitting my mid-30s and finding it more and more difficult to keep my
weight down and stay in shape. I've never been "overweight" but have also
never been in super shape. More interested in eating right and taking care
of myself, but would also like to look better. I've used Weight Watchers and
actually found it to be a good program for helping me learn to eat right, but
lacked education on fitness. My husband got me interested in running a few
years back. I've ran in 2 Half Marathons (about 11-12 min pace), several 10,
8 and 5Ks. I really enjoy running, but need some variety. I tend to obsess
about the training for races and lose sight of the enjoyment of running. I
need to stop weighing myself and focus on how my clothes fit and how I
feel. Just finding time to eat right is also a challenge--I enjoy fruits/veggies,
etc., but have to plan ahead of time or end up with something quick, but
gross.
Looking forward to P90 and then will try P90X.
