I'm a mother of 2 beautiful girls 11 and 9, a wife to a fantastic husband. We run a business in real estate- he's in real estate sales and then together we buy and sell properties here in Colorado. My part time job is dance teacher where I get to keep my creative juices flowing- as well as keep in shape. Hobbies? pretty much anything to do with crafting. I sew, knit, decorate , etc. Also love to ski and hang out with my friends. As of January 2008, I'm 45 years old ...and am now in the best shape of my life thanks to Beachbody. Who'd have thought it would be as easy as pushing play just a few times per week?! Thanks Beachbody for all your help. I'm not sure I would've gotten it done without you.

I started dancing when I was only 3 years old. Began with the normal stuff like ballet (hated it), tap (loved making the noise) and jazz (that was my favorite). I went on to love dance throughout my whole life. So much so, that I became a dance teacher when I was 36 years old ! I have a class of consistent students who I teach that are adults who have all become close friends- and I love it. The reason I came to Beachbody- is because with all the teaching that I did (7 classes per week!), I couldn't drop the 15 to 20 pounds that I really needed to shed and get to my ideal weight. For years. I saw an ad for both the Kathy Smith DVDs as well as the Yoga Booty Ballet - and immediately said- those are right up my alley. None of that step aerobics for this dancer. Well, I've been pushing play ever since. As for those 15 to 20 pounds- well they're gone. For good. In fact - I work out 4 to 5 days a week now - consistently. I stopped counting a long time ago, but I think I lost a gazillion inches (okay maybe around 10"). It wasn't so much the fact that I had a huge amount of weight to lose, but the psychological difference in me is HUUUUGE. I love my body and the way it looks in clothes now. I can wear just about anything around a size 2 to 4. (I even head straight to the Juniors Dept now!) This has been long in coming, but I just wanted to say 'Thanks, Beachbody' for inspiring me to keep pushing play. It's made all the difference in the world- MY world. Thanks Paula Chess
