Hi! My name is Maria Ayala. I started Chalene's Turbo Jam 10 day challenge and I lost 8lbs. in those 10 days! Let me tell you all..I was immediately hooked! ;) I've always been active growing up. I participated in sports in junior high and high school, and was a dancer with a background in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and flamenco. After high school I got LAZY and stopped dancing, other things in life became my priorities and gained 56 pounds since then.
I love music and love to move my body! This is the reason I've stuck with turbojam it's so fun I don't feel like it's a workout, I feel like I'm at a dance club! TurboJam has the most rockin music out there! I've lost 30 pounds already and am still loosing!

I'm 28 years old and don't get me wrong I love a double bacon cheeseburger, pastries, and some good italian and mexican food. Although, the taste is great I wasn't really ever satisfsied because of the way I felt afterward. The weight gain and lack of energy is not worth my health and happiness today. I just didn't want to feel so tired and out of energy anymore. I also wanted to loose the 56 lbs. I put on while enjoying these fatty foods and not exercising. One thing I didn't do while I indulged in these types of foods was go workout afterward. I just didn't have the energy.
Recently I've made my health, fitness and happiness my number one priority. My transformation already is Amazing to me and I'm having fun! I pop in turbo jam 5 to 6 times a week whenever I can fit that hour into my schedule. I've found out early in the morning works best for me. I'm healthy, happy, strong, and fit today and it feels Great!
I continue to make healthy choices with my food, but I'm not starving... and I'm not on a diet! I found out I can actually eat a lot as long as its good food! I feel better daily! I have more energy throughout my week and am still loosing! I had to buy new jeans! ;) "skinny jeans" yay! I'm in control now,not the food and that's what I feel so good about my life today. I don't have to go to the gym and jump on the boring treadmill, or stairmaster. I just pop in the videos and have fun in my own home while burning a mass amount of calories! It's Awesome!
I also enjoy making the protein shakes...there are some yummy receipes out there. ;) The protein shakes and meal replacement shakes are quick and filling if you are on the go like me. Another important thing I found for myself is I take my multi-vitamin, omega 3, and calcium and that's it!
Just a few simple things which taste better, fill me up and make me skinnier! I never thought it would be this easy to feel good about myself again after all the weight I put on since high school. I'm almost down to the weight I was in high school and I WILL acheive my goal!
I just became a coach for Team BeachBody because I want to help others feel better about themselves. I want to show people how easy it is to loose those pounds and feel great again! I plan on getting certified to teach fitness classes and help others look and feel their Best!
