Hi everyone, I'm a happily married woman with 2 kids (6 & 8) and my dog, Potter! I have lost over 50lbs with Beachbody and I'm still losing!! I am now a very active person, I LOVE the outdoors, camping, hiking, and all that jazz! My favourite past time is hanging out with my family and working out with any of the Beachbody DVD's! I started with Beachbody at the beginning of May 2, 2005, and WOW! Little did I know that this would be the answer to my prayers! I met a bunch of wonderful people that helped to keep me More...
I started with Beachbody at the beginning of May 2, 2005, and WOW! Little did I know that this would be the answer to my prayers! I met a bunch of wonderful people that helped to keep me motivated, and away I went....talk about melting away the fat! Nothing I've ever tried in my whole lifetime has EVER worked like Power 90! I'm looking forward to trying other programs when P90 is completed! Beachbody has definitely helped me to realize everything I've been doing wrong, and they helped me to get onto the right track! Almost 90 days into the program, I've lost a total of 45lbs and about 35 inches or so.....WOW! If I can do it, than litterally ANYBODY can! Now I'm complete, 90 days, and I lost 51 lbs and 40 inches!! Oh my goodness! Talk about giving me my life back! I'm starting Power Half Hour Monday! Let's get rid of another 50lbs and I'll be shouting out on the hill tops "I LOVE YOU BEACHBODY!" And I'll tape it and take pictures to prove it! You watch! OK, Power Half Hour and Slim in 6 were fillers until my TurboJam came and they've been very good to me! I didn't have the chance to finish eight program because I was too excited about TurboJam, but I still I lost about 10lbs and about 8 inches in that month, now on to Turbo Jam.....it's been 2 months now using TurboJam and I'm LOVING it! My weight is down to 185 (that -80lbs since day 1!!) and I've lost a total on 61 inches since day 1! The weight and inches just come off so fast that I've stopped counting it by program and just started with the total numbers!!! I had an ultimate goal to lose 100lbs my Christmas 2005 and I NEVER thought I could do it, but with BeachBody, I've learned that ANYTHING can be achieved if you want it bad enough!! Well, I've lost the next best thing than 100lbs by Christmas, I've lost 93lbs and I've lost my shyness!! I've gained strength, muscle, attitude, happiness, confidence, the willingness to be out in public, I'VE GAINED MY LIFE BACK!! I will continue doing all this for years to come too..... for this wonderful Christmas gift from Beachbody..... THANK YOU!! I love you guys!!! Well, I've now lost over 100lbs... 103 to be exact and still counting! I'm starting to gain lots of muscle too! Just about where I want to be, and I know that I need to do P90X! I will start it sometime this year! But for now, I'm still dedicated to good old TJ! I'm really loving those new workouts on the ball! Whoo hoo! I love it guys! Thank you Chalene for sharing this wonderful workout with me! I love ya! {muah} Well, here I am, October 2008, and I've got a confession to make. I got sick a while ago and was thrown off track. I regained 50lbs over the last 2 years, bringing me back up to 215lbs. I really do feel HORRIBLE!! I have a new mini goal, it's to get back on track again and try to lose about 20lbs by Christmas and NEVER go back again!! I have also realized that when you get down to a "happy" weight, you can't be cocky about it, you cannot revisit ANY old habbits again and you CAN NOT stop working out no matter what! So, my promise is to hop back onto that horse and keep riding until I hit my goals and KEEP PUSHING PLAY NO MATTER WHAT!!
