My name is Jean Carlo, I'm 29, a father of 2 beautiful girls (Adrian and Gabriela) and I’ve been married for 6 years now. I moved to Connecticut from Puerto Rico almost 7 years ago for work. I’m a mechanical engineer working in a jet engine company. You may think there’s nothing cooler than that, but honestly my passion is dogs… so I’ll soon start my certification as dog trainer.

I can't say I've ever been really overweight, but I'm really far from fit. I've signed up to the gym a few times (you know, new years resolution). But the "gym" experience never clicked on me... plus with 2 little ones and 3 dogs, driving to a gym is very inconvenient so I ended up wasting my money.
One year ago during my yearly physical my cholesterol turned out to be borderline and I'm not even 30 yet! So I started to watch what I eat. Still borderline... And to top it all, my wife ran in the Hartford Marathon this past year, my oldest daughter is VERY active, and the little one loves her daddy to pick her up... way to often I find myself saying "I'm tiered", "can't do this, and that"... Daddies are invincible in their daughter's eye and I'm sure far from that.
...So I needed something drastic. I came across the P90X infomercial, and it really appealed to me: diet and exercise, money back guarantee, at home? I spent a week researching in the internet because there are too many rip-off infomercials out there. To my surprise I didn’t find a single bad review for the program… so I got it.
I barely passed the fitness test and now I’m 3 weeks into it. I have to say it is this is really extreme, but I feel great and with more energy than ever… regardless of the fact that I workout at 4:00am. This is for my daughters because I won’t allow myself to miss one second of their life… my transformation is just starting!
