My hubby and I are so excited to start P90X! We have different goals with it, mine is to tone up from having my first baby back in March 2008. I was able to lose the weight quite quickly, I actually weigh less than when I started by 5 pounds thanks to nursing and yoga and pilates classes. But I need to tone! I want to be in even better shape for the next pregnancy (whenever that may be) so that I will be able to return to my previous state easier. I also would like to have more confidence in myself and my body and feel the accomplishment of being super healthy! I am pretty nervous that I can accomplish this with all of life's craziness but I am determined and my husband promises to keep a fire under my butt! We are starting tomorrow and I will update this story as I go! Update!! So today we did our 30 day photos and measurements and I am pretty disappointed. I'm exactly the same!! I can see the tiniest difference in definition...well, I thought, but all my measurements are the same! I thought this was the fat burner portion and even with changing my diet, my weight and body fat have shown no difference, I thought I would actually be heavier with the muscle building but I guess I dont have any!! I missed one workout when we were on vacation but otherwise have been very good, my hubby promises it will get better, I sure hope so! | ||||||||
