I'm a 34 year old former marine, who's been married for 12 years. I started gaining weight soon after I started junior high school and was always known as slightly chubby. I never let that deter me from participating in sports and other activities, in fact my basketball skill and size earn me the name "Fat Jordan". Soon after high school I met my soon to be wife, we got pregnant, yes I said we, because I put on just as much weight as she did during her pregnancy, from there my adult hood began. I worked to support my family, but decided that I needed something more stable and benificial to support my family, so I join the corp, that was one of the most benificial things that I ever done, boot camp was "hell on wheels" but I enjoyed every minute of it, now that 90 day program put me into the best shape of my life, I went from 230lbs to 167lbs, was able to run 3+ miles do 20+ pull ups and what ever else I wanted to do. Well that lasted until I got out of the Marines 2 years later, since I was always chubby, I had to watch what I ate to make sure I didn't gain to much weight, but when I got out of the Marines, food and I had an affair a big time affair, I ballooned to 280lbs and I didn't even noticed until one day I was playing basketball and I ran over someone on the court, the guy seem to fall before my body met him or so I thought, my stomach was so big, it hit him long before the rest of my body did, so from there I knew I had to lose some weight. I did different things, I lost several pounds only to gain them back, only in this past year have I found something that works for me. I tried weight watchers and wow, it worked, but as I see now, I have come to my plateu, I lift weights regularly I run often, but I seem to never be able to get to my desired weight. I haven't gain to much back, but I can't lose anymore, so now I'm here, just ordered P90X, have a good eating plan, but I am ready to get on the P90 trip. I really believe in this plan, because of my boot camp experience and my sudden change over 90 days of boot camp, so I know with hard work, a good diet, and a awsome exercise program I can meet my goals. I am ready to start and very excited about what's next.
