Also, if you are interested in learning more the rewarding experience of becoming a coach or how to use the Team Beachbody program as a fitness fundraiser, please contact me at the number or email address above. It may be one of the best decisions you ever make!
Becoming a coach has been one of the best things I have ever done to help others and it has also made me more committed to getting results for myself. If you are fitness minded and want to help yourself while you help others, email me.
My story - I am 43 years old and have been married to my husband, Chris, for 8 years. We have one daughter, Mackenna, age 5.
In addition to my role as a Team Beachbody support coach, I also work as a marketing director for a frozen food company in California.
Aside from the obvious blessing of a wonderful family, I am fortunate - I have been active my whole adult life and really enjoy exercise. I know that is not how most people feel about exercise, but I have always found it to be a release for stress. Back in the 80's I was one of the first to own a Reebock Step. I also used to run quite a bit and eventually became really attracted to weight training.
Over the years, I have been lazy at times, particularly with my diet. I think I am like a lot of people in that regard. Even when doing some form of exercise everyday, I would endulge too often in a beer after work, snacks and sweet treats. It seemed as though food and fun went hand in hand. As a result, I wasn't as happy with my body as I would have liked. I wasn't what I think most people would call overweight, but believe me, I have carried more body fat under my clothes than I would ever want anyone to see.
Like most people, especially working moms, making time to exercise is my biggest challenge. I have to get up very early to fit in my workouts, but it is so worth it. I love seeing others in WOWY who are also up early and are striving to improve themselves.
It seems I am always on the run, but making time to exercise and talk to others about its benefits, is a major priority. It is my commitment to fitness that allows me to have the energy to get everything else done without feeling whipped.
I started the P90X journey on April 11, 2007 and it has been a great ride. I hope I can be an inspiration for other busy, working moms by demonstrating that it is possible to be fit and healthy even when life moves fast.

I can't even believe I have been at this for over two years now. Wow! How time flies when you are feeling great!
I have always been an exerciser and relatively fit but until I found the P90X program I had never put all the pieces together. I would exercise, but I did mostly cardio training with only moderate weight training. I tried to eat well, but my diet was lacking in protein and some essential nutrients.
Over the last 2 years I learned a lot about how to eat to support your life and your training and how to mix up your workouts to keep getting results. I have completed P90X 2 times and done 2 rounds of a P90X+. This last year I incorporated ChaLEAN Extreme and Tony's One on One workouts into my program. The workouts are efficient, effective and the variety keeps me from getting bored. I am in this for life so thank goodness Beachbody continues to develop new and demanding programs that keep me inspired.
I have also learned a lot about the value of surrounding yourself with other like-minded people. Playing WOWY and logging my workouts keeps me in engaged in my fitness and recommend it to everyone. It also helps to know I have a Coach that I can reach out to if I need advice or a little motivation.
I know this is a journey that will never end for me. My transformation has been more than physical. It has been about embracing challenge and continuing to push myself to be the best me I can be. It would make me very happy to help someone else have this experience. I believe it is possible for anyone who is willing to embrace the challenge too!
On July 11, 2009 I started the Insanity Program. I am now two weeks into it and I am struggling but improving. I know that if I just keep with it, in 60 days I will come out of this experience an even fitter person. Yah! Overcoming challenges is what life is all about.

11/14/09 The last month has been a whirlwind. Lots of travel for business, deadlines and events. I have tried to work out at least 4 times per week, but I have mostly done cardio and some leg More... 10/10/09 I stated off as planned but on Tuesday I went to the Physical Therapist/Chiropractor for a little look-see on my shoulder and that changed the direction of the week.
Holy cow! If you More... 09/26/09 I guess it is to be expected that when you are working out hard your body is more susceptible to injury and illness, but when it happens it is still really annoying.
