As of 7/6/09, I have been married for almost 22 years to a P90X grad. I am the mother of six children ages 21, 18, 16, 15(boys), and 9 and 6(girls). I'm a Pre-K director/principal for the Christian school our children attend(ed).

Transformation Story

Started weight watchers in late spring of 2005, lost 35 lbs, but plateaued for 6 months. Did one round of P90X (very modified version), and lost another 30 lbs. I had fun with Turbo Jam. I enjoyed More...
Started weight watchers in late spring of 2005, lost 35 lbs, but plateaued for 6 months. Did one round of P90X (very modified version), and lost another 30 lbs. I had fun with Turbo Jam. I enjoyed it, but I have a personality that needs some change to stay engaged. I took a long break from September 2008 to late March 2009. I have gained back some weight. More than I want to admit gaining. UGH!
I just hit 50 yrs on 4/3/09 and I have a wonderful husband and six children. My baby is about to turn six years old and I want to see her graduate from high school and get married so I can dance at her wedding! Hence my re-dedication.
I have been doing a half-hearted attempt with chalean extreme. I love the resistance workouts, but bag the cardio more often than I like. I am going to hit it hard so that when school begins again in September, I will not be easily recognized AND I will require a completely new wardrobe!
As of July 10, 2009 I completed my first 90 days of CE. I am in the 30 day Lean for Life Phase as I mentally prepare to start another 90 day round. I had good results but I know I did not do my best and give my workouts all I am capable of giving. So I am changing that mindset because a very famous book tells us "if you don't quit, you win!" (paraphrase) I intend to win for lots of reasons, but mostly for myself!
